Loved the new added scenes. My favorite film. Just finished the complete epic and it was great! I had the video set of three cassettes but this is so much better in every way. I am so happy this set was available. I will keep it always. I've been looking all over for this movie 1 satisfied customer.
I saw this version of the godfather 1 and 2 on HBO and have been dying to own this version ever since! Beautifully packaged and an amazing 4 hour experience! Even though this seven-hour presentation is compressed onto a single disc, the picture and sound quality are very good. The Blu-ray case and art for the cover, interior and on the disc itself are also solid.
The packaging is very attractive, I especially like the interior photo of Michael and Fredo. The transfer isn't perfect, but I recall that even the official HBO transfer back in the day wasn't perfect either which isn't even available these days. It could be this is as good as this cut of the Godfather has ever looked. I'd rank it as being like a very good dvd. Extras were a very pleasant surprise!
